Know your industry and your community
I started my real estate career in 1975 in Chicago and practiced there until 1986. I moved to Florida in 1987 and practiced here ever since. I am a licensed Real Estate Broker. Most of my work has been in the commercial market.
I have served the industry as well as the community in many different ways. As a citizen I attended city and county commission meetings weekly for over ten years, served on the St Lucie County Code Enforcement Board for 6 years, 2 as Chairman, the Committee for a Sustainable Treasure Coast for 2 years, Hosted a one hour radio talk show (Mondays with Mabus) for 5 years, am a FSU Master Gardner and a dozen other committee's and task forces.
As a REALTOR I was a life member of the Chicago board of REALTORS million dollar club, am a FAR certified Mediator, Chaired local Association committees for 11 years, was chosen REALTOR of the YEAR in 1995 and again in 2004, served as Director on the Association Board for 4 years, was the 2005 President of the Realtors Association of St Lucie and was appointed Key Contact for the Florida Association to State Senator Ken Pruitt and several other committees and task forces.
