TWO GMAC REAL ESTATE AGENTS CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE NORTHWEST'S EXCLUSIVE PROGRAM

Tricia Lyman and Randy Hunzeker Are Among Just Seven Chosen From the State's 26,000 Realtors

Oak Brook, Ill., April 13, 2006 - Two GMAC Real Estate Realtors have been chosen to participate in The Leadership Institute Northwest's exclusive annual program, part of just seven selected from throughout the entire state of Washington's 26,000 Realtors.

Participating in the three-month-long program are Tricia Lyman, co-owner and agent with Town & Country GMAC Real Estate in Colville, and Randy Hunzeker, an agent with Signature GMAC Real Estate in Vancouver.

"Through our program, we work to identify emerging Realtor leaders, and encourage them with motivational activities and assist in sharpening their leadership skills," according to Steve Franks, CEO of the Washington Association of Realtors. "We do this in the hope they will exert a strong positive influence on the future of their local associations and the entire real estate profession. Tricia and Randy clearly demonstrated the leadership qualities we look for, and we're very pleased to have selected them from Washington's more than 26,000 Realtors."

In selecting program participants, institute officials look for Realtors who are active in business, education, the arts, religion, government, community-based organizations, or real estate specialty areas. The program helps participants hone skills in team-building, communications, working with a wide variety of personalities, leadership and negotiation, among others.

"I'm extremely proud to have been selected," said Lyman, president of the Northeast Washington Association of Realtors. She has been an agent for the past 12 years and has worked in the industry for more than 30 years.

"The program teaches skills not only useful to the daily business, but also that can be applied to life," she said. "The program is geared to teaching how to lead and bring out the highest level of professionalism in each person while putting consumers' needs first."

Hunzeker, who has been a Realtor for nine years and is President Elect for 2007 for the 2,000-member Clark County Association of Realtors, said being selected for the program is an "incredible opportunity. I intend to use the information and skills I gain from this program in my day-to-day business and the longer term."
